Brockway Engineering - Race Data Display for OBDII vehicles w/ Super Bright Shift Light (Red Display)
The R900e is the enhanced model. It has all the features of the R900 with the addition of a 2 stage shift light output and a 0-60 mph timer (0-100 km/h in metric mode).
The R900e is a vehicle sensor monitor that plugs into the diagnostic port on most 1996 and later import vehicles. The data is completely accurate as it is communicated from the engine ECU. Through the selection of one of 8 different screen modes, the user can monitor engine RPM, ignition timing and the following sensors.
The shift light is adjustable from 3,000 rpm to 11,500 rpm in 100 rpm increments for each stage. The active shift light setting is determined by vehicle speed, adjustable from 10 mph or km/h to 200 mph or km/h.
The acceleration timer is completely automatic. It resets when vehicle speed is 0 and starts counting as soon as the vehicle starts moving. Once the vehicle reaches either 60 mph or 100 km/h it displays the result. For accuracy, the R900e uses an internal accelerometer to detect vehicle motion. It then tracks the VSS to determine vehicle speed.
- TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) - MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) - MAF (Mass Air Flow) - ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) - IAT (Intake Air Temperature) - O2 (Oxygen Sensor Voltage or A/F ratio. Vehicles factory equipped with wide band oxygen sensors will always display A/F ratio) - VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor)
Speed and Temperature can be displayed in Metric or English units.
LCD can be dimmed.
Reads and clears diagnostic trouble codes (DTC's).
